Dana and Bob brought their only son in to us today for his senior portraits. They had some specific ideas regarding the hat - these are too cool! Taylor wants to be involved with the artistic and technical aspects of the movies someday.

In-studio wedding photography

Marina and Joel saw a relatives senior portraits that we did a few years ago. They flew up to Reno from Southern California to have their engagement and formal wedding portraits done!

While we don't have the time in our schedule for on-site wedding photography, we love to create portraits on days other than the wedding! In this manner we are able to create images on a more relaxed day - the wedding day itself is often packed with high emotions, anxiety, schedules, etc. It's "mo' betta" to have portraits done in a more relaxed setting!

Daddy's Portrait Assistant

Our boy Spencer (er... Speed) has spent several days this summer here at the studio while school's out. One of his favorite activites is helping Daddy on portrait sessions outside!

Four year old twins!

Four year old twins are like a box of chocolates - you never know what you're gonna get! (Apologies to Forrest). Luckily we got great images today of Debbie and DJ's kiddos! They visit us every year from the Las Vegas area - great to see you guys again!

A tale of two tall dudes

Yesterday we photographed Tommy and Layne - both basketball friends from different high schools. Tommy was open for anything photographically, so we created a collection of portraits with lots of variations.

Layne and his mom were specific about getting basketball portraits that deviated from the norm, so we walked downtown to the basketball courts for some urban scenes!

Went to see the Sammy Hagar show at Harvey's this past weekend. Great show! Montrose opened. They released their first album in 1973! And they still get together occasionally - 35 years later!
