Blaine and family went on safari this morning with Steve as we explored a more rustic and outdoorsy look for his senior portraits!

In the recording studio

Michael and his dad were able to arrange to have some of his senior portraits created at Sierra Sonics (formerly Granny's) Recording Mansion this morning! Michael is a music artist and will pursue performance and record engineering after high school. I have recorded there many years ago, but never have I photographed there! It can be tough to photograph in a low-light situation such as this... thank goodness I'm a professional! ;-)

We then finished up the session near downtown and at the studio.

On Friday Jennice requested to go into downtown for the outdoor portion of her senior portrait session. I wish more seniors would request it! I love the urban, contemporary feel you get when you involve architecture and city scenes.
