Stay in a house in Yosemite!

We visited Yosemite this past weekend - here is our obligatory touristy snapshot at the valley view. We stayed in a house in Yosemite West - an enclave of homes only about 20 minutes from the valley floor. Most visitors to Yosemite clamor for a room at the Lodge or have to contend with full campgrounds or a pricey room at the Ahwahnee. For a reasonable amount you can have a whole house! We had lunch the other day at the BBQ House on Wells and Roberts. Oakland-style barbeque! I had the Oakland Special. Take a break from the big chains and try some local fare - which happens to get Steve's two thumbs-up!

Rock-N-River Marathon

Steve's buddy Scott ran his first marathon on Sunday - I covered it for him by driving ahead of the runners at several stops.
