From the Nevada State Railroad Museum website:
McKeen Centennial Celebration, May 9
Come one, come all to the Nevada State Railroad Museum, Sunday, May 9. We're celebrating the 100th anniversary (to the day) of the delivery of McKeen Motor Car, V&T No. 22 to the railroad in Carson City and the completion of the decade-long restoration of the car.
Join the Friends and Museum staff who be wearing their 1910 finery, plus noted railroad historians, local, state and Federal officials, and even some folks who actually rode the McKeen Car when it was in service on the V&T for the unveiling.
Festivities start at noon with a presentation on the platform of the historic Wabuska Depot.
Following the official program, the McKeen Motor Car will be available on a limited basis for public rides.
