A couple of weekends ago Spencer and myself got to ride in the cab of an 1888 steam engine at the Nevada State Railroad Museum!
Then on Labor Day weekend, I went and checked out NightRanger at the rib cookoff. If you were there, I was the tall guy towards the front! They were good.
This past Saturday, Spencer woke me up at 4:30am to go see the balloons. I have not seen the dawn patrol (hey - I just posted about NightRanger...!) for about 15 years, so we drove on down and got a pretty good vantage point.
